has over 15 years of state government experience and relationships. She has excelled at the executive level with a cross-divisional skill set that includes program management, crisis communications, legislative implementation, and administrative oversight.
Sonya's experience as a state-appointed official has given her the chance to work with a vast array of public servants, from high-level agency officials to front-line department staff, as well as the state’s top elected officials. This experience enables her to rapidly earn the trust and confidence of client teams. Her creativity and deep knowledge of the corporate and public sectors allow her, working closely with clients, to build bold, customized strategies that lead to mission accomplishment.
Sonya’s previous experience forming new government entities, transforming state departments, building legislative strategies, consolidating regulatory programs and leading high-performing teams has informed Sage Strategies’ approach to all client engagements.
